It’s a network of change agents deeply focused on advancing peer to peer bottom-up movements renewing a social contract based on wise self-governance. It is transcultural, transdisciplinary, ever transforming.
Let’s focus on individuals and interactions over processes and tools, working neighborhoods over bureaucratic regulations, resident collaboration over internal planning, responding to change over following a plan. Let’s move away from outdated 20th century ideas of a technocratic “smart” city. A better world is not only possible it is already here because wiser ways are increasingly preferred.
